Description Fuzzy, rosy pink upright catkins appear in early spring, turning silvery gray before becoming covered in yellow pollen. The foliage emerges afterwards, with bluish-gray leaves with a silky underside. A great mounding shrub for winter interest. Developed by a cut-flower grower in Japan, the branches are fabulous in a vase. Deciduous.
