Description Sweet pink plumes on deep purple upright stems rise above the lush, glossy dark green foliage. A compact, bushy plant with an upright habit. The dense, attractive blooms on the strikingly dark stems are excellent for cut flower arrangements. Stunning in mass plantings. An herbaceous perennial.

History 'Lollypop' was a product of a breeding program in 1992 in Noorden, The Netherlands with female parent A. japonica 'Europa' and male parent A. x arendsii 'Grete Pungel', selected for it's upright, compact habit, dark green leaves, dark-purple stems and petioles, and free-flowering pink blooms.
