The most popular sour cherry grown in America; perfect for pies and preserves. An abundance of white flower clusters bloom in mid-spring, followed by a heavy crop of bright red cherries with yellow flesh in early-mid summer. Self-fertile: does not require a pollinator, but planting several trees is recommended for better cross-pollination. Chill requirement: 700 hours. Deciduous.
LIGHT: Full sun
WATER: Water when top 2 inches of soil is dry.
SIZE: Reaches 12 to 18 ft. tall, 15 to 20 ft. wide.
