Description A naturally occurring hybrid from the Uncompaghre Plateau in Colorado. Very cold hardy and drought tolerant, with its bright green leaves holding their color longer into the winter. Small pink flowers in spring are followed by dry red berries in fall. Naturally dense and low-growing, it is a great, well-behaved evergreen shrub for the home landscape.
