CARE
Care Prefers humus-rich, evenly moist, well-drained soils. Benefits from some protection from harsh afternoon sun in hot southern regions. Shelter from strong winds to keep leaves from tearing. Water deeply, regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Apply fertilizer when new growth begins in spring.
