Description Abundant clusters of white buds open to pendulous blossoms of cream to dusky mauve. Large, pink, sausage-shaped, edible fruit form in the summer. Ideal trellised near pathways, or in patios and garden entrances, where the attractive flowers and intoxicating fragrance can be enjoyed up close. Semi-evergreen in colder zones.
