Description Selected for its outstanding color and compact growth, with fine leaves of a more intense blue than others of the species. Deep purple plumes open to airy white seed heads in fall, as the foliage shifts to a warm bronze-orange. A cultivated selection of a North American native species. Perfect for bird-friendly landscapes. Perennial.
