This outstanding hybrid, from the Jersey Star Star® Series, was selected by Dr. Elwin Orton at Rutgers University, the result of a cross between the Pacific Dogwood (Cornus nuttallii) and Korean Dogwood (Cornus kousa). This superior selection has shown high resistance to the incidents of powdery mildew and dogwood Anthracnose.
