Tall, vibrant spikes of grape-colored, nectar-rich flowers throughout summer. This versatile Plant Select® winner is adaptable to a wide range of soils and conditions. The slightly cascading growth habit makes it perfect for use in sunny borders, meadows and naturalized landscapes. An herbaceous perennial.
Blanket Flower (Gaillardia); Black-Eyed Susan (Rudbeckia); Blue Fescue (Festuca glauca); Avens (Geum); Shasta Daisy (Chrysanthemum)
Care Instructions
Provide moderately fertile, well-drained soil. Water regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, tolerates drought but blooms best with regular moisture. Prune back in mid- to late summer to encourage a new flush of blooms. Remove old foliage before new leaves emerge in spring.
