|Description||A strongly upright grass with a fabulous show of colors. The blue-green foliage takes on scarlet tones in late summer, deepening to purple through the fall. Tiny tan seed heads develop in late fall. Tolerates hot, dry conditions. Excellent planted in groups, or alone as a vertical accent. Perennial.|

|Care||Grows easily in a wide range of soils and environmental conditions including clay, high heat, and humidity. Water deeply and regularly during the first growing season to establish an extensive root system. Once established, reduce frequency; tolerates drought. Cut to the ground in late winter to early spring.|
